The year 2008 showcased numerous Bollywood movies , unfortunately most of them were downright duds. But there were a few which exceeded expectations.Here are five must watch movies of 2008

5. Jodha Akbar – A must watch just for the cinematic experience. It brought back the true bollywood on screen. Amazing visuals (who can forget the song azzemo shaan shehanshah) great performances, all in all a good watch

4. Rock On – Desi take on rock and it was rockin. It was bollywood’s summer of 69…..

3. Sarkar -2 – Taut script , great story and terrific acting..Announced RGV’c return (which turned out to be a false alarm after the release of contract and phoonk)

2. Jaane tu Ya Jaane Na - A feel good romantic movie – had all the ingredients of a successful movie and didnt disappoint . Great narrative style and a wholesome entertainer

1. A Wednesday - Probably the best film of the year or even the 2000 s. Anupam Kher and Naseeruddin Shah were explosive . Great dialogue, good suspense and a very engaging climax.
